Google Drive – Google Drive is a storage service that includes Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. This amazing tool allows collaborative editing of shared documents, making it perfect for group projects. Through features like folders and colour-coding, it also allows users to keep their files organized.
Khan Academy – Khan Academy provides online quizzes and written and video tutorials explaining concepts within every subject from biology to economics. Their resources are useful not only for clarification of concepts learned in class but for an introduction to or enrichment of any subject of interest. They also offer test prep for standardized tests like the SAT and the MCAT.
Kahoot – Kahoot quizzes are an exciting way to review for quizzes and exams with only a smartphone or laptop. What makes Kahoot so effective is that is brings out every student’s competitive side using ongoing rankings.
Desmos – Desmos is an advanced, yet easy-to-use, online graphing calculator. It’s incredibly valuable for checking math homework, especially in higher grades. Desmos also offers classroom activities allowing teachers to incorporate real-life examples into their lessons and monitor their students’ progress.
